This fantastic example of a Julius Caesar Roman Silver Denarius with diademed head of Venus with cupid behind. The Reverse really screams “CEASAR” with a trophy of Gallic arms to centre, below two Gaulish captives in mourning.
Graded as good Very Fine, struck from slightly worn dies, however well centred and a fresh example and a scarce find in condition as found here!
