Rare Coins Melbourne is a full-time internet and mail order-based company situated in Melbourne, Australia. Our website inventory covers a wide variety of material, virtually most areas of the Numismatic field. You will find coins of the ancient world, including Greek, Roman and other interesting ancient empires, medieval and Anglo-Saxon coinage, early hammered examples as well as later milled coins from all over the world. We stock a wide variety of material from rarer issues, to coins of exceptional quality and those that are affordable to most, although just as interesting.
However, it doesn’t just stop there! As most collectors have similar or secondary collecting hobbies or themes, we at RCM are no different. You will find a variety of other small collecting areas ranging from ephemera including postcards, posters, shares, bonds and scrips. Exonumia, medals, tokens and badges. Interesting vintage collectables, silverware, as well as fun and colourful vintage tin toys. Being a collector myself it’s hard to limit yourself into one area, so we decided to offer all!

I have over 20 years experience in the field of numismatics, starting my career at Dix Noonan Webb (now Noonans) a leading auction house in Mayfair, London. Learning from some of the very best in the field of Numismatics and Military Medals. After relocating to Melbourne, Australia, I worked at one of Melbourne’s largest auction houses, Australian Coin Auctions. I later expanded into working with collectables, antique jewellery and bullion working at Universal Coin Company, Melbourne. My most recent role was a senior numismatist at Downies Collectables.
