1553-58 Great Britain Mary Groat Pomegranate Mint Mark – aVF
Graded as almost Very Fine, with natural toning, very slightly creased with minor surface stress fracture to obverse (doesn’t go through) and small edge chip, else bold portrait of this scarce issue.
One of only three silver denominations issued during her brief solo reign, the others being the Halfgroat and Penny. A pleasing example with good portrait.
