Known as Eadgar ‘the Peaceful’, he became king of all England on his brother’s, Eadwig death. He was the younger son of King Edmund I.
A beautiful high grade example with attractive cabinet toning, a small edge crack to legend at 8 o’Clock else a very pleasing example with masses of eye appeal.
