Titus was famous for finishing the Colosseum and helping those affected by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. His brief yet well-regarded rule was defined by kindness and strong leadership, giving him a legacy as a compassionate emperor.
This Dupondius displays a nice bold portrait of the emperor facing left, The reverse shows Vesta the virgin goddess of the hearth, home, and family.
