Fantastic high-grade Denarius of Galba struck in Spain around 68 A.D.
The reverse depicts a helmeted Roma standing left, resting right foot on globe, holding branch and grasping vertical spear to reverse, ROMA VICTRIX (‘Rome Victorious’) around.
Graded Bold Very Fine, few old marks and scrapes neatly hidden under old cabinet toning, however a striking portrait of this scarce emperor! Rare!
