P. Clodius M.F. Turrinus was one of the four moneyers along with L. Livineius Regulus, L. Mussidius Longus, and C. Vibius Varus that was appointed by the newly constituted triumviral government of Antony, Octavian and Lepidus in 42 B.C.
Displaying the head of Apollo with lyre behind, the reverse shows Diana standing front, with bow and quiver over shoulder, holding lighted torch in each hand.
Struck from worn dies, otherwise, about Extremely Fine else a pleasing high grade example.
