193AD Pertinax Silver Denarius Lempereur Plate Coin – EF & Rare
A scarce emperor to find in any condition full stop!
This example not only a coin from the Alexandria mint, coins which are normally on smaller metal flans and are rougher in appearance. It happens to be the Oliver Lempereur Plate Coin from the book of Recherches numismatiques sur l’empereur Pertinax.
A truly fantastic example graded as Extremely Fine, with Iridescent toning and mint lustre beneath. Well struck up for the mint with a striking portrait of the emperor.
A rare coin as thus.
