Counter-struck to provide the denomination of a Silver Ducatoon, with the Madura Star punch mark of Sumenep Regency. Struck on a 1802 Charles IV silver Eight Reales of Mexico City.
The Madura Island is an Indonesian island off the northeastern coast of Java.
Few light marks to obverse, graded as good Fine, the reverse slightly better, almost Very Fine; the counterstamp nice and bold.
