Crispina was a Roman empress and the wife of Emperor Commodus, ruling as Augusta in the late 2nd century AD. She was falsely charged with adultery and exiled to the island of Capri in 188AD later executed around possibly due to political intrigue or accusations of conspiracy.
Graded Very Fine, the reverse almost Very Fine showing signs of surface corrosion although does not detract.
